Why Brian Dennehy As Dungeon Master?

I really enjoyed this cartoon in the 80s. They made the whole concept of D&D fun for it's target audience. But, sadly, they never marketed any toys to accompany this show. The characters seemed perfect for rendering in plastic.  My favorite was The Thief but that was because of her knee high boots and hooded cape. But any of the characters would be cool too.

I do, however, have problems with head bad guy, Venger. He chooses to wear a horned helmet but only has a horn on ONE side of his headgear? The whole look he is going for is retarded. You are the boss, Venger. Either have your armory boys create a horn for the other side of your helmet or find something different to wear on your head. It's really distracting for those Orcs trying to follow your orders to keep asking about the missing horn on your head.

I forgot how enraged Dungeon Master would make me whenever he showed up. He never offered any help other than things that the kids could figure out for themselves. He never shows up to save the day even ONCE. In fact, he was usually the cause of all the bad things that happened during these adventures.

I always thought Denehy should have played the role of Kingpin in Daredevil instead of the guy from The Green Mile.

Wasn't this from around the time when Michael Jackson wore one glove? Maybe Venger was going for a similar look.
