Conversation With My 72 Year Old Mother At 4:30 This Morning

"Can you grab that box of dishes from the garage and put it on the curb."

"Why? Who is going to pick it up?

"People."

"Which people?"

"Just people, anyone who wants them."

"Anything else."

"No, just the dishes."

"Why just the dishes and nothing else."

"Because people need dishes."

"People need other things too."

"Yeh, but I have a box of dishes right now."

The woman is pure comedy, especially before sunrise. And if you have forgotten - she collects action figures of her own - here is her Jeebus with Holy Spirit accessory.

I occasionally post dinner conversations with my parents on Facebook/Twitter. Generation gaps make for easy targets.
