The Wizard of Oz in China by Billy Nunez

I am not a fan of the Wizard of Oz (I prefer Return to Oz) movie but I like the idea of giving the story a Chinese twist when I see these images - the Cowardly Tiger is a fantastic idea. You can see the rest of the images by going HERE.

Super! I love that the Great Wall is the Yellow Brick Road.

The concept just works in that culture. I would love to see an animated feature done in this style. It would be like Kung Fu Panda - which is very good btw.

It doesn't really work, though. Once she had a taste of the Kung Pao Chicken and noodles, Dorothy would have forgotten all about Kansas.

Who wants corn when you can have Mushu Pork?

I think that last line was on the fortune cookie I got when I ordered my Chinese food. What kind of fortune asks a question? WHAT KIND??
