I Don't Hate This Idea

Going into Batman vs Superman, which DC will then directly lead in Justice League, we’ve already got a Batman and a Superman obviously, and we’ve got a Wonder Woman, but will be also see another JL member in the film? It’s been known for a while that DC wasn’t happy with the performance of the Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern movie, and that they were going to be looking for a new one anyway… so why not move ahead to the John Stewart GL? Rumor has it that’s the direction they’re going, supposedly chit chatting with Denzel Washington for the role. That may not be true, but it makes sense for them to go with the John Stewart Lantern even if it’s not Denzel.

I don't know i still feel that we need Hal Jordan in there at lest for the first film and then we could branch out to John Steward or even Kyle Rayner. I wasn't crazy about the Green Lantern movie and to be honest am GL'ed out from all of pushing they were doing with the characters. Don't use Ryan Reynolds and get another actor in there as Jordan and it will be all good.

There was a time when I wanted Nathan Fillion as GL or Antman or any damn Marvel hero but then he got all boxy and can't play those roles anymore. CASTLE ruined him I tell ya.

A month or so ago, someone did a fake movie poster with Idris Elba as John Stewart. I don't hate that idea.

Nope, don't hate that one at all. Because an elderm experienced black John Stewart Green Lantern (like the one in the classic cartoon). Flash can be goofy. GL CANNOT BE.

Yeah, they need to cut a brother in to all the profits they're making off superhero movies.
