I have a few pieces I keep on my monitor. Happy to see this weird 12 inch Doom join the group. Why is he weird? Well for one thing his articulation is all messed up. His legs bend and twist 12 different ways below the waste but he cannot bend his elbows and his hands can't grasp anything. You can pose him in such a way that nothing will knock him down. But is does seem like overkill.
The elbow doesn't bend but there is a weird thing going on with the shoulder that replicates nothing a human being is capable of. Again, more wonderfully bizarre design choices for a DOOM.
It's like some Mexican Toy Factory combined the top and bottom from two different figures. The cape is that beautiful PVC plastic that smells so good fresh out of the box. This guy has no rips or tears in his but it is impossible to remove without damaging the hood/cape.
The head sculpt is also well done and Doom has that familiar grimace of pain from behind his silver mask.
If you notice he also wears the same version of this outfit as a more cartoonish figure. I thing this Doom is from McDonalds as part of their Happy Meal toys.
