What more amusing is how Richard Pryor would go one to be the household name whereas if anyone remembers Hal Halbrook its as "that guy who does the Mark Twain impression".

I've seen this!

I saw it on television in college. It's pretty God-awful, but what's amazing about it is that it actually embodies some of the "establishment" fears of the era (the mid- to late-sixties, when everybody was concerned about "youth" and "campus unrest").
