Loves Me Some Germany

I have great love and admiration for the German people. I lived amongst them for five years when I was a kid and find them to be industrious and gregarious, often to a fault. They are the engine that drives Europe and if you want to see progress in any number of areas (health care, transportation, infrastructure, immigration, education) then your can't do wrong by looking to Germany. This year and from now on, ALL European University tuitions will be free. Just make the grade and you are in. No bullshit loans that will leave you starting your new life after college in debt. Universities should NOT be 'for profit' institutions any more than Hospitals should.

The country also gains by having a highly educated and trained workforce prepared to take on the innovations of the future. Does seem like the way to go, doesn't it? Watch for all the comments I get about this evil socialist plan coming from the evil Germans. While it can be said that, yes, Germany has lost their minds a few times in a previous century, that should have no bearing on the modern nation they are today.

And here we are spending all our energy trying to screw each other out of more money. America keeps sinking lower intellectually every time you turn around.

And all it does is perpetuate the circle. But this happens in an empire on decline. You are almost too big to rule in a world like today. Too many people, problems too big to fix, systemic racism. It's hard. No wonder you all have guns.

It would have worked better if we hadn't voted in politicians that only represent the rich and our corporate owners.
