Man, I haven't thought of RC Cola in a million years.
The best cola for mixing with rye as a teen. It had real bite to it and I loved those glass bottles.
Rye and RC! You are a true sophisticate, sir. That was served only at the finest of Manitoba bush parties.
You would drink a third of the bottle then add your rye. Rough.
And smoking Colt cigars.
I smoked a few Colt wine-tips in my day too. It was a feminist thing. I had a (straight) girl friend in university who smoked nothing but Colts.
Colt were cool. And I loved chewing on that filter when I was done my cigar. Not inhaling is the secret to not puking up your guts. Nothing better on a starry summer night than a drink and a cigar.
