If you can MELT the safe with your eyes then why are you still wearing chains? I mean have some self respect or at least respect your super powers. There are a whole lot of apes out there who don't have X-Ray Eyes. Now technically those are heat vision eyes because X-Rays don't melt stuff. Have I in any way destroyed the illusion for you? He might like the chains. Who am I to say who likes what?
But chains. No one likes chains unless they are being beaten with them.
