Roger Moore - Dead At 89

He was never my favorite Bond. Too goofy but he kept that franchise alive during the 70s and 80s and The Spy Who Loved Me is a great Bond film and I have a soft spot for Man With The Golden Gun.

One of the most underrated war movies of all time - The Wild Geese is one of my favorite Roger Moore films.

He was my favorite Bond, mainly cause he was the one I grew up seeing in the press as Bond. Hope he had a good life!

I was a bigger fan of him as "The Saint" on TV. But still, he had a good long life and an illustrious career. RIP

I liked him as the Saint too. One of the only English programs we saw when we lived in Germany. I liked him very much in the underrated Wild Gueese.

While Moore was far from being my fave Bond ( too comedic ) he was the Bond I grew up with - the first Bond movie I saw on the big screen was The Man With The Golden Gun - so I'll always remember him with some affection.
RIP Roger

He did a lot of good work for disadvantaged people around the world and lived a good, long life. May we all be as lucky. RIP
