Retro Radio Farm Classic Bakelite Radios

These are gorgeous and expensive because they are the real deal from the 1950s. Bakelite is a great looking plastic material that allowed manufacturers to offer and endless number of color and designs to consumers regardless of the product involved. In this case it's radios.

I had a big grey bakelite radio when I was a teenybopper that my grandma gave me. It wasn't as cool-looking as these though. But late at night, it would pick up Chicago radio stations.

I had the little transistor ones but I could pick up those US stations too late at night.
